XRS Energy+ Receiver

The Carp-Sounder XRS Energy+ receiver represented a significant improvement over the original first-generation XRS receiver. While the device’s range was limited to about 100 meters, the XRS Energy+ features a significantly longer battery life, which now lasts up to 1 year. This improvement is particularly beneficial for anglers who spend extended periods of time on the water and need a reliable device that doesn’t have to be constantly recharged or fitted with new batteries.

Extended battery life: One of the standout features of the XRS Energy+ receiver is its exceptionally long battery life of up to 1 year, achieved through optimized energy efficiency. This reduces maintenance requirements and allows for worry-free use over extended periods of time.

A compromise on range: While the receiver has a range of about 100 meters, this was accepted in exchange for extended battery life. This means that anglers who frequently spend long periods of time by the water don’t have to constantly worry about the device’s power supply.

Reliability and Durability: The XRS Energy+ receiver was designed for use in extreme conditions. Thanks to its waterproof housing and rugged construction, the receiver was suitable for use in the rain as well as in more demanding environments, such as night fishing.

Vibration Alarms and Visual Signals: The XRS Energy+ Receiver combines audible alarms with vibrations and visual signals. This feature helped anglers react quickly, even when they were not right next to their rods.

The XRS Energy+ receiver was replaced in 2017 by the new XRS ACC receiver, which features a longer range, significantly extended battery life, and many additional functions
