Vibration (Fast Take)
Vibrations are indicated by short beeps that correspond to the rod’s movement. The CS receiver signals this with a double beep and an LED that flashes for 20 seconds.
Angle (Slow Take)
A preferred bite is indicated by a sequence of single tones, each lasting 1 second, as long as the rod is pulled forward. The CS receiver signals this with a single tone and an LED that stays lit for 20 seconds.
Breaking of the ripcord
A break in the breakaway line is indicated by a tone sequence lasting approximately 10 seconds on both the bite alarm and receiver. The CS receiver displays an LED that illuminates for 20 seconds.

The sensitivity for vibration and bias can each be adjusted in 9 levels.

The volume can be adjusted in 9 levels. The setting range extends from extremely loud to very quiet to mute.

The pitch can be adjusted in 9 steps within a range of 323 Hz to 3400 Hz. The tones range from a subtle, low tone to a shrill alarm tone.
Mute
The CatSounder ONE can be completely muted for discreet fishing close to the shore.
LED settings
The LED settings on the CatSounder ONE bite indicator allow for custom adjustments. They include a variable color that can be adjusted to different lighting conditions, as well as a afterglow LED feature that keeps the bite visible for a certain amount of time.
