Please note that the shipping costs—or at least the methods used to calculate them (e.g., by weight)—should be specified for all countries to which we ship.
If you only ship to certain countries, you must inform your customers of this. In addition, you should select only those countries as “Allowed Countries” in the WooCommerce settings. You should not use phrases such as “Shipping costs to other countries available only upon request.”
Prices, Shipping Costs, and Delivery Information
The prices listed on the product pages include sales tax and other price components.
We ship only within Germany and Austria.
In addition to the listed prices, we charge a flat rate of [6.90 euros per order] for shipping within Germany and Austria. The shipping costs will be clearly displayed again in the shopping cart and on the order page.
For cash-on-delivery payments, an additional fee of [2.00 euros] applies, which the delivery person will collect upon delivery. [There are no additional taxes or fees.]
There are no shipping costs for digital content (e-books, software, etc.).
[Note to merchants: The following text is required if you specify a flat-rate shipping fee. Otherwise, you may remove it.]
The flat-rate shipping fee is [specify flat-rate shipping fee] euros. The flat-rate shipping fee includes the statutory value-added tax. Since the value-added tax on the flat-rate shipping fee is calculated based on the goods purchased, it may be reduced if goods are purchased at lower sales tax rates (e.g., when purchasing books). This means that the flat-rate shipping fee can only be definitively calculated during the ordering process. However, it cannot be higher; it can only be lower, to your advantage.
